The Frustrated Farmer

Posted on August 14, 2026August 12, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

Have you ever excitedly shared a new-to-you Biblical revelation to have it brushed off? Have you pulled all-nighters ministering to teens at a lock-in to have them snooze through the devos? Have those you cared deeply about just not been interested in faith? When we witness to anyone, our words, attitudes and actions are like…

YOU are His Treasure

Posted on July 31, 2026July 9, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

I assessed the eighteen-year-old young man before me. Adam was his name, He had met my seventeen-year-old daughter at a Christian conference the summer before. Although he lived over two hours away, he drove to our home almost every weekend to date our over-the-moon teenager. Now, he had found a job, a career, and was…

Faithfulness Habit

Posted on July 24, 2026July 8, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

In my early thirties, I experienced a heart-wrenching diagnosis: stage 3 cancer. I needed four surgeries, five months of hard chemo, 28 radiation treatments, and a full year of IV drug therapy. Altogether, my treatment lasted over 15 months. But please don’t think, “poor her”. God was unbelievably gracious during that entire journey. Through that…

Remember Well

Posted on July 17, 2026July 8, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

Recently, I was blessed to watch God provide for a family member. This unit was putting faith in Him, making the best decisions they knew how, and asking for His guidance with many variables along the way. And, as always, God came through. As my loved ones marveled at what God did, I encouraged, “write…

With Humility and Honesty

Posted on July 10, 2026July 7, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

How do you feel on vacation? Recently, hubby and I found ourselves in our nation’s capital for the week leading up to Independence Day. We decided to download an app to use the public transportation system.   We were determined to navigate as a local. But we are not used to city life!  We made…

Freedom to Choose

Posted on July 3, 2026June 23, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

“Which do you want to wear?” I held two preselected outfits for my preschool diva to choose. She would study them both and then pick one. My morning would go better and faster if I narrowed down the selection. She would happily choose what she would wear that day. God gives you and me many…

Carry Him to Jesus

Posted on May 15, 2026May 14, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

How far would you go to ensure a friend found Jesus? We read in Mark 2 that four friends were determined to carry a lame friend to Jesus. The friend was carried on a blanket or mat between them.  Imagine the friends telling him they knew a man who could help- finally! He just had…

The Pause

Posted on May 8, 2026May 6, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

The snake slithered up to her and challenged her mindset. He fed her half-truths but worse, engaged her mind and held her captive beside him while he carefully crafted a concoction of confusion. Did God really say? Could He have meant…? Is that really true? While Eve saw a serpent seeding her second thoughts, our…

How to Respond

Posted on April 18, 2026April 11, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

The message came through, quickening my pulse. Then I noticed I was not the sole recipient. This was a group message. Add embarrassment and pride to the emotions flowing through me. God, I need you! I knew I also could not address this issue right now. I knew I would respond from a place of…

God Loves My Children More Than I Do

Posted on January 23, 2026January 21, 2026 by stefanielynn3@gmail.com

That title sounds scandalous, doesn’t it? You might think I don’t value my kids highly enough or that maybe I’m self-centered.  I think my three daughters (27, 23, and 18) would vehemently disagree. They’ve witnessed me go to bat for them. When one needed a medical appointment and we got the run-around for a few…
